Cold Turkey

My head hurts from lack of caffeine; today has been a cold turkey day. One day does more for assuaging the conscience than kicking the habit. The renunciation might also have been made slightly easier by the substitute, which was LAN. Much LAN. Talk about addiction management.

Turkeys also made guest appearances in Ctrl+Alt+Del and QC, where it’s traditional.

It’s off to six-day band camp soon. I’m really not sure to what extent sarcasm is present when I say, ‘What fun.’ I’ve already packed in anticipation.

These two days have been quite band-ish anyway with preparation for tune-in and tune-in itself. LAN and lack of caffeine are probably the other two factors which have had the result of these two days representing a complete lack of progress with regard to the various essays we will need to complete. (I think I shall also blame those factors for that long sentence.)
Tune-in was sad.
How many bass players does it take to change a light bulb?

1) None; the piano player can do that with his left hand.
2) Don’t bother. Just leave it out. No one will notice.
3) One, but the guitarist has to show him first.
4) One. Five. One. Five…
5) Six: One to change it and the other five to fight off the lead guitarists hogging the light.
