Arraying and parsing heterogeneous masses of data makes me happy. I imagine the geometers of old having had satisfaction of a similar sort.

On a less happy note, I may be without my iPod for the week. I dread the tranquil, elated or intoxicated moment when I, realizing that my iPod is not at hand, will be left bereft. It’s been five years, and now it is part familiar, part phylactery.

I have also had my hair cut to meet the standards required of an NSF for the last time; I have yet to decide how happy I am about this.
